    I will apparently have to give it some thought, as nobody has mentioned anyone I would rate as even an excellent actor/actress.

    If I can come up with a few, and a favorite, I will post them.

    My criteria is that they're so talented that I actually forget that I am watching someone act, even if only for a moment.

    Don’t get me started on The Wire. I tried so hard to like it. It is almost universally loved and people say it’s an all time great. I rate it a 3/10. I just don’t get it. It’s Law & Order SVU.

    Maybe I didn’t look hard enough but no one seems to have mentioned Daniel Craig. He’s played some great characters besides Bond.

    I like Rachel Weiss his wife a lot...just watched Agora...epic film about the destruction of the library in Constantinople when the Christians sacked it...great film..
