I have a bad feeling about election night. None chance Trump just loses and goes away. We’ve got drama coming like we’ve never seen.

...yes, I find it interesting the blue column adds up to 95% and the red column 101% -- hmmmm which team was doing the rigging?! :biglaugh:

I’d be much more worried about the opposite. If Trump wins the left will lose their shit.

I was simply posting a graphic I found interesting, wasn’t doing victory laps over it. Being smug and condescending isn’t really necessary. Especially considering nearly all of your bullet points are estimates themselves. Sorry it rubbed you the wrong way. I even made sure it was from a mainstream source so as not to get attacked from the “fake news conspiracy theorist” angle.

Probably....but it's worth noting that Arizona has already been counting votes for 10 days; Florida and North Carolina are already processing mail-in and early votes and those will be among the first tabulated. Those 3 states account for 55 electoral votes. Biden could easily be leading in all those states come midnight making it much more difficult for trump to declare victory

    C’mon man!

    Here’s the deal:

We all know it’s been Trump supporters burning down businesses, looting and setting shit on fire. There’s no reason to even suspect people on the left will cause problems if Trump is re-elected. There’s nothing in recent history you could point to to even suggest it’s plausible.

you posted something...I responded. Welcome to the internet. Quit being a snowflake and seeing condescension where there was none. It didn't rub me any way except as being a graph that needed some context

all I was doing was some elementary math on the numbers of your interesting graph.

the fact that Biden supporters are voting early to try and make sure their votes count without risking infection on election day is about the least surprising factoid of this election. And that trump supporters are much less concerned about the risk of election day voting is unsurprising as well. These things could have been predicted in May

We've been seeing drama like that for the entire Trump tenure...it can only get better in my view...I don't think of this as an election as much as the people finishing the job the Senate refused to do during his impeachment....this is more..."You're Fired!" than you lose...

There is going to be a surge of trump voters on Election Day and many pollsters and media outlets aren’t taking this into account, despite the fact that “it could have been predicted in May”. They are taking the current numbers as a representation of the election outcome. You basically reaffirmed what the graphic said and acted as if you disproved something. You didn’t. You just expanded on something I already posted, congratulations. Those of us who “don’t do math” are lucky to have smug people around to put us in our place.

Oh it’s been shitty yes. But with Biden “leading” from what it looks like, handily, in various polls, if he ends up losing, people won’t go batshit necessarily because of the loss but because it was rigged, stolen, votes suppressed, and so on. The obvious effort by Republicans to make voting difficult has already created enough anger to cause a shit storm. If Trump wins? Mayhem and I’m all for it.

If the dems lose a race they shouldn't for the second time, the party needs to split up and be more center than so radically left in many ways. Let the progressives start their own party.
We need a few more options especially in the Democratic party, the were there and guess what?

The Republican Party is composting before your eyes....they gambled on goofball and now will lose their edge...just watch...there will be a new conservative party next time around....they're going to blow up the team and start the rebuild after this flop...the Lincoln Party alone could gut their entire roster...the good old boys Republican Party will be left with a few jaded old farts, maris and mags

I hope, truly you are right. We need to have a strong Republican Party. I grew up in a Republican household, and always respected my dads views on things. He has passed away as of 2018, and I think he would be sickened by what’s going on. I wish we had three strong parties, cuz this ain’t working. I think the media needs a reality check as well. Accountability for their reporting. So while I want Trump to die, I want the Republican Party to take a step back, re-evaluate, come up with real leadership and come back stronger. I want the Democrats to do the same because the fact that Joe Biden is our best option is also pathetic.

There is no place for this republican party, it is one that abandoned the ideas of what it means to be a conservative party that values principals, fiscal responsibility and family for power and greed.

Either a new iteration of the party will be created - or the vacuum will be filled by the Lincoln Project following, I am sure.

How can you say that when we have multiple, daily, examples of thousands and thousands of people from coast to coast who are 100% on board with exactly what’s happening right now?

everybody, including media, has known for quite a while that election day voting was going to be heavily in favor of trump. That is surprising nobody

and please point out any poll that isn't accounting for that dynamic

nobody with a functionaing brain is doing that. Not a single vote has been tabulated yet. All I've seen is suggestions that the early voting numbers reveal a lot of enthusiasm and determination by D's.

again. please point out anybody who is saying the early voting patterns prove who will win

lol...you think I "acted" a certain way by doing multiplication and addition? Remind me not to use trigonometry near you

    maybe this is the problem:

what I said was "it's especially interesting if you don't do math"

what I meant was "it's especially interesting if you don't do the math"

maybe my inadvertent omission of "the" is what has you in a twist. Maybe that's what has made you see so much "smug" around here
