I can't find any lawsuit that would change thousands of votes necessary to alter a single states projected 2020 presidential election. The only lawsuits I see are regarding observes, deadlines, and other minor changes that would impact too few votes to change any projected outcome. Can someone please share one active lawsuit that could potentially change the outcome of a single state?
There are plenty of lawsuits waiting in the state of NY that could alter the fate of one of the candidates in 2024...
Good point. I think Nate Bishop is a woman, and my evidence is that I've never seen her nude pictures. Imma gonna sue
It's like Republicans don't understand the damage they're doing. The faith in our election process can easily be eroded and this could easily come back to bite them in the ass. Throwing around unfounded claims of fraud just because you're mad that you lost is not good for this country because there are people who will believe them. If a large portion of the country thinks that our elections are easy to fake, this will lead people to disregard our elections and move to violent means. And it will spread. Now that loser McSally is claiming she won't concede her election either.
I saw on the news last night....might have been CNN...that the lawsuits that have made it to a judge for a determination of substance or standing on any kind of vote count or vote fraud, the orange mob is 0-12. In other words, judges have ruled on 12 of the lawsuits and dismissed every one the trump team has only had 2 rather useless victories so far, IIRC: 1) an order by SCOTUS justice Alito to segregate ballots in Pennsylvania that arrived after election day. But the state was already doing that and the total number of these ballots is only a fraction of Biden's margin in the state 2) a judge allowed election observers to be closer. From 25' to 6'. The only impact was increasing the risk of Covid to election workers so fuck that judge
There was one to throw out the results in Pennsylvania, but like all the others it is frivolous. Trump's Plan File as many lawsuits as possible. If you throw enough shit at the wall, some is bound to stick. If one lawsuit sticks that calls into question the mail in ballots then all the mail in ballots are called into question. If a lawsuit sticks that calls the process in one state into question, then all processes in all the states (that he didn't win) can be called into question. The SC can then have a reason to get involved. His three amigos that he installed on the bench owe him bigly. He believes they can help him overturn the election Pretend like he won. Move on like he won, creating a new budget, etc As a back up replace all in government positions with loyalists, so that on Jan 20th, they can all refuse to leave together in concert to try and keep control Start a war with say Iran, so that Trump's "emergency powers" trigger and he can use them to stay in the White House. "We are at war, I can't leave." Incite supporters against opponents, with legions of gun toting supporters that he has already practically enlisted as a militia, he can pull an Ammon Bundy. Just in case, have the helicopter ready to fly him to a private jet fueled and ready to take him to a country without extradition.
This might hold up if he was actually still doing his job, but there are reports that his calendar shows that he's not. He has completely stopped doing his work.
I don't think that if one state's election is in question that it would by default, necessarily taint ALL of them. I also doubt the SC ultimately gets involved at all and even if they do, just because his appointees can help him it doesn't mean that they will. But your last scenario would not surpise me at all.
