Don't be surprised if he ends up our 16 pick especially if the players are off the board that's olshey really wants.

Paul Reeds measurements are pretty intriguing too. He could be a nice alternative to precious for someone later in the first/second.

Scrubb isn't going to make it past the early 20s in the draft.

Yeah, I think @Labinot41 does act like a kid a lot of the time and he is again right now but I do feel his frustration with what seems to be Olshey's satisfaction with being a team that maxes out at getting to the second round. I'm also quite annoyed, constantly, with Olshey's stubborn and arrogant devotion to "his guys". The fact that he hasn't figured out that the Dame/CJ combo doesn't work after all of this time is absolutely mind boggling to me. All of that being said there are better ways than Labinot uses to articulate that frustration.

Might not make it past 16... which would make me a bit frustrated but I'd love it if I was wrong and Olshey struck gold with him.

He might try to trade down a few spots if Scrubb is his target.

That would be fine with me... if he were able to trade down into the 20's and maybe include pick 46 to get another first rounder in next year's draft and get his guy Scrubb then I'd be fine with that but 16 would be a stretch. Also I'm just not that excited about getting another really athletic young developmental wing when we have Gary and Nas on the roster. If we're going to add a young piece that needs some time I'd like it to be someone completely different than anything we have on the roster right now. Whether that's a big defensive minded/facilitating PG or a Poku... actually if he's available I just want us to take Poku and I'll be pissed if we take anyone else.

Scrubb seems like Will Barton 2.0. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely a raw scorer that isn't on Dame's timeline.

I'd look to see if Covington could be had from the Rockets with the pick plus a player and whatever else.

I'd really like it if we pursued RoCo. Maybe he could be had for the 16th pick, a future first rounder and Ariza. Then figure out something for the three spot. Maybe Hoodie would be ready to start or Gary could or maybe Nas has taken a huge leap forward... I don't know if there's a FA out there that we could get to start for the MLE.

Edit: Wait, maybe Derrick Jones Jr. could be had for the full MLE. That would be badass.

This why olshey going to pick him at 16. In olshey eyes and we are healthy he not going have tooto count on shuab this year. So that's gives schuab a year to develop behind Trent Hood Ariza and maybe Little it depends what position they expected him to play. Now I might be wrong altogether but if the the person that olshey wants at 16 is not there then he olshey will go out on the limb and pick schuab 16. Now is this my pick at 16 no. But if he there at 46 then I would be alright if olshey to a flyer on him.

Here's hoping this means he's available at our second round pick!

Except he's got a really high BBall IQ. I'd say he's Marc Gasol on D.

#16 to the Celtics for #s 26 and 30 and take Tillman as well.

I will be pissed as a Knicks fan on Draft Day if we take Scrubb at #16.

O’Connor was saying on his podcast that the spurs like mcdaniels. For some reason, I keep coming back to him as an option for Olshey. Based on history, he fits.

The bottom line to me is pretty simple. If we draft a player who isn't going to contribute during Dame's window, then we wasted the pick. We might as well just trade it for a future pick (hopefully in a better draft) or (best scenario) use it to trade for a useful vet. (EG Covington)

Scrubb’s standing reach is the same as Melo and Blake Griffin’s

Neither of whom is noted for his shot-blocking.

Another way to put it: Blake Griffin's arms are stumpy as a Scrubb's.
