Its worse here than probably anywhere.

 

Over 161,000 cases today and we lost over 4000 people in the last three days. That is 9/11 every 48 hours or so.

 

Do it. Whatever science is telling us will be the best way to get out of this, im all for.

Costco near me started putting the line outside again. Haven't had a line but I think they are starting to crack down a bit

 

I think people have pandemic fatigue

I see people masked up too. I also see, and know, that people are gathering in small and large groups without masks...and they are inside now because of the weather, so air is circulating with virus. Restaurants and bars are open as well. So are gyms

we were at the coast a couple of weeks ago, and and 3 different piers I saw mobs of people, close together, fishing and crabbing. And most were not wearing masks

(guess) more than anything though I don't think it's a coincidence at all that if you look at the arcs of the surges, nationally and in states, they really started to climb about 2-3 weeks after kids went back to school, even if it was on a limited basis.

 

the only way we might slowly get a handle of the surges is for states to start locking down again. The economy is going to go into the toilet anyway as the pandemic becomes a mounting disaster

This is exactly why Donald Trump needed to take this seriously from the beginning. You hit something like this hard from the very beginning. If he would have done that we would be 9 months into this and in a much better position. But unfortunately we had an Idiot as a president and he didn't want to wear a mask. You put something like this down fast and ease restriction after it is under control. You do not create issues at every turn and then watch it kill hundreds of thousands and then try to control it.

 

As you post a tweet with 9 of the 10 people actually wearing a mask? I did not see you posting these kinds of pictures about Trump rally's without masks? Why so hypocritical?
Both issues were not a good look. If you are gonna post on gatherings, post on all gatherings.
I happen to agree with the tweet. I question why people felt the need to act like fools?

First off, you don't know what's coming.

Second, if Trump had used even a modicum of common sense back in February, we very likely wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

 

Lockdowns are coming. They are happening as we speak in Chicago.
