Only if you alternate hands! Balance is the key!

I use to get an excellent workout with the various machines in my circuit weight training gym. I worked every muscle in my body for 2 1/2 hours every day. In between resistance machines were aerobic machines. I weighed 180 and could push 560 lbs. with my legs. No matter how hard I tried I could only bench press 260 lbs. Don't remember how much I could curl. I was 53 when I had to give it up.

Every other machine was either a stationary bike or a rowing machine. Aerobics were not left out. I was lean and fit. Had the body approaching that of a boxer.
I wish that I had learned to jump rope because I enjoyed seeing some of the guys do that the way I enjoy watching a skilled tap dancer.
