Not going to go to Oregon. First time I've missed Thanksgiving. Not planning to go Christmas either.

I'll sous vide turkey breast and Trader Joe's Thanksgiving sides. Set up a zoom with the fam while eating.

Going to be just me and Lucia.

Upside I can cook what I want without accommodating everyone else's food restrictions.

OK, save the date. Next year all S2 is invited except homophobes and cat haters.

All thanksgivings in my family just got cancelled unless I can convince my parents to change their mind.

honestly I’m a little pissed. No one in my family is considered high risk

An extra year of fattening them up and they'll be even more delicious next year.

We have a beach house rented at Newport. The plan was for everyone to quarantine in for two weeks so we could do a family getaway relatively safely. My grandson got a toothache and is going to need dental work next week. Trying to decide if that blows the quarantine bad enough that we have to cancel. Given that my 92 year-old mother-in-law is one of the people planning to go, I think the answer is going to be yes.

Just me and my wife. We're getting a turkey provided by her favorite gambling joint up in Washington state near Battleground. Dressing, plenty of turkey gravy, will skip the mashed potatoes because I prefer dressing, whole berry cranberry sauce, might add frozen orange juice to the cranberry sauce, side dishes are as yet unknown. Will have a nice white wine from my collection.

My wife, son and grandson. We usually go to my brothers' house where 20 or so relatives gather. Not happening this year. It looks like we are getting a value meal from a local supermarket and some Rolling Rock (pale ale) beer.

My wife and I are going to Asheville, NC for a few days. The Biltmore Estate is amazing this time of year.

Just got disinvited from my parents' house. First time ever. Probably spending Thanksgiving with my in-laws listening to them talk about how America will come to an end thanks to this past election.
