No one has any money for Hassan. I bet the dude got a 2 year 19 million MLE offer but he thinks it's insulting to him. Will be hilarious if he ends up taking the minimum or a BAE.
A sign and trade would be his best bet, but that doesn't appear to be materializing. He will likely take a 1 year deal for $8-10 million and try his luck again next year.
Toronto has their MLE. I would love to see that. Going from Marc Gasol to Hassan Whiteside is like having a PhD and then having to go back to the 3rd grade in terms of BBIQ.
I wonder how much Dame influenced Olsheys moves this offseason. Just judging by past decisions, especially in free agency, it seems like he played a major role lol.
Damian Lillard C.J. McCollum Jusuf Nurkic Robert Covington Zach Collins Enes Kanter Anfernee Simons Nassir Little Gary Trent Jr. Harry Giles Rodney Hood Derrick Jones Jr. Carmelo Anthony yeah, 13. I think minimum is 14? Elleby - two year deal or Two-Way? Gabriel - ? If the Blazers are determined the stay under the tax line, they have to be getting real close right now. Probably room for another minimum deal but not the BAE
Damn, that's the most amount of pure talent from a combined roster we've ever had in the Dame era, and I'm including the Aldridge years. Still don't think it's contender level though.
a sign and trade appears a dead option for him. Blazers might have the margin for 6 or 7 million 1st year salary, but as other have noted, it's really looking like Portland wants to stay under the tax line. Maybe the best chance is if a team has a 6 or 7 million TPE and are willing to send Portland a 2nd for a Whiteside S&T.

I dunno if Denver’s GM is still Connolly but whoever he is seems to end up doing a lot of shit I approve of. Just signed Hartenstein.
OKC gets a good sized TPE by sending Oubre to GSW. Would they want Whiteside? They just ditched Adams, right?
