Isn't the night before Thanksgiving supposed to be one of the biggest pizza delivery nights of the year? I think I've heard something along those lines. Most likely, because so much food preparation is already taking place for the next day's feast. Me? Hey, call me crazy, but I'm grilling a nice rib-eye this evening! Plus, all the trimmings, too! Loaded baked potato; saute'd mushrooms; and steamed asparagus. Heck, yeah!
No, its the biggest drinking night of the year because all the bros and hoes go back to their hometowns and get lit the fuck up!
I haven't ordered a pizza in over 20 years....my wife makes amazing homemade pizza ..the commercial pizzas are too greasy and salty for my tastes
Sounds great, what time's dinner? Loves me a charred medium rare NY with sauteed mushrooms, grilled asparagus (which I can no longer have) or candied carrots, loaded baked potato with butter, sour cream and chives but hold the bacon bits, a great red wine and a small oil and vinegar salad. When I used to go out to eat this I would top it off with cherries Jubilee hand prepared at our table. The last time I did that I surprised my wife with my PE stamps, one a crimp and the other an ink stamp both of which were required of professional engineers and showing her the Korean I had been learning in night school up in Bellevue. That was about 34 years ago and I still smack my lips when remembering it
no...unless our daughter in law is visiting, then yeah....she'll use arrowroot substitute....we eat bread in our home
I love NY style pizza. The best I've found in Portland is Escape from New York. The best I've found outside NY or New Jersey was in St. Louis but can't remember the name of the joint.
If you ever watched Louis C K's series "Louie" on Netflix, the opening is him in New York City getting a slice of Pizza on his way to the Comedy Cellar....this place has pizza slices just like that one ..the real deal....
