The title of this thread is offensive and there should be a big protest somewhere. Typically, that has meant damage gets done and trash is left everywhere.
the Ducks are vulnerable in the civil war when they have defensive issues. They have defensive issues this season I think Andy Avalos will have to make a choice as DC: to sell out the defense to stop Jefferson and force Gebbia to beat the Duck D with his arm
I don't know why he just can't use the lineup they teased us with before the start of the season..... just start Dorlus at DE and move KT to outside LB against running teams. The 3-4 does not work IMO against the run if one of those 3 is only 250/lbs.
the Ducks have been dealing with several Covid cases, like most teams. It has left the Duck D shorthanded
I know, but Popo is back so they now have the depth up front to do it. Having KT play more LB also helps with the losses at LB. Either way, I would get bigger upfront and move KT around a bit more.
Go Ducks. The name change is one of the dumbest things ever. They had a bit of brand equity in the name and it's gone due to... reasons. Because one side of the American Civil War 150 years ago was bad? Or was it related to Cromwell in the English Civil War a century earlier? Or was it related to Spider-Man's appearance in Captain America: Civil War? So effing stupid.
I saw a statement on 247 that Oregon was the youngest college football team... not sure if that's accurate, but I think it's a Redskins-type situation: remove the offending name and put nothing in its place. (Washington's name, of course, had a BIT more logic to being removed than un-naming The Civil War). Maybe it should be called "The Game Within the State".
I think what I saw is their frosh/soph to junior/senior ratio is the highest in the country. So, yes they're young in terms of depth, but I'm not sure if you averaged the age of the players that are taking the snaps, if they would be as young. To me, that would be the interesting stat.
