this was my first game thread since like 2012. And I have only one review of tonight...

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Painfully obvious the starters are by far the best unit in terms of offense and defense combined. Also DJJ and RoCo have to be in every lineup that wants to have a shot at getting a non-accidental stop.

My worry is getting the best talent on the roster. If changing the coach every year allowed us to increase our talent, I would be ok with it. If it has no impact on talent, then it seems like a wasted excerise, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Nurk needs to get his ass in shape and he needs to practice free throws.

Always good to get a win.

Negatives- I watched a bunch of confusion on passes and defense again in the first half mostly.
Seems like the Melo experiment has pretty much run it's course. he isn't any better against the second units.
The team is still missing shots they usually make and the FT shooting seems worse than usual.

Positives- The missed passes on offense and bad timing seem to be just that. Timing is getting better and they are trying a few things they were not trying before.
The Roco/DJJ tandem is starting to get a little better and i watched them work better tonight.
Nurk is playing better and looks to be getting in better shape every game.
When they needed stops tonight they came.
Dame trusted a few guys to make shots. Mainly CJ and he made them.

They should not have been that close tonight but you have to admit Harden was an absolute beast in that game. Tucker played a great game as well as Woods.

I was wrong and I don't like the move one bit (even if Ant did play ok).

I think all of Melo and Hoods min should go to Giles until he gets hurt. I honestly think guys like Giles and Nas could help us more than Melo and Hood.

I love how Harden got to take like six steps before hitting that three.

He had to of said or done something. Unless he was pulled for a trade, I’m serious.

@AldoTrapani I can't really identify anyone else in the forum as the best at any one thing but you are definitely the best at knee jerk reactions... in the game, between games, at all times we can count on you.

He forced overtime missing freethrows tonight...we win it in regulation if he didn't miss those last two..before those he was 2 for 5 I think at the stripe

No matter the reason, I don't like it. If Stotts did it on his own, I don't like the move. If he did it because of Trents attitude, that's bad for us too.

The defense in the second half was nails, I don’t even care how many points they gave up almost everything was contested.
