When Melo comes back from the health/safety protocol, should he lose his spot in the rotation?

Poll closed Jan 3, 2021.
  1. Yes, he was horrible before and there are better players behind him.

    31.6%
  2. No, but give him one last chance. If he stinks it up, into the doghouse he goes.

    5.3%
  3. No, give him a couple more chances, and if he doesn't play well, then give away his minutes or spot.

    10.5%
  4. No, but keep him on a short leash each game. Pull him if he's not playing well.

    49.1%
  5. No, a player should not lose his spot because of an injury. He deserves his place in the rotation.

  6. No, Melo re-signed w/ the Blazers on a min contract. He's a future Hall-of-Famer & deserves respect

Hassan Whiteside had a PER of 25 last yr, the tenth highest in the entire league. But I suppose enough people acknowledge that he isn't good.

I think the Clips won that Green + Harrell for Batum + Ibaka exchange.

Kawhi has been ruled out but Gary is still listed as questionable.

Hope to see more Melo as a screener and at the elbows where we can run some secondary actions.

There's a time and place for his post ups--early looks when he's got a mismatch in transition primarily--but otherwise there's easy ways to scheme him into playing off of more of an advantage while also involving the other players on the floor.

In some ways yeah, but kanter at least has an elite nba skill. Two if you wanna count rebounding.

We saw him used as a screener quite a bit with the starters last year.

You're just sayin...that it's conceivable that Melo is unwilling to do things to make the team more successful with him on the floor?

That doesn't sound like the kind of thing you'd normally say.

I am sure that we can beat Clippers tonight. I am sure that we will give them tough match and i really hope for win. I wrote prior Rockets match that we need that win because of the self-confidence and chemistry in the team. We got it and Lakers firts saw it. The Clippers will be the second. Leonard's absence will help, no doubt in that.

We need GTJ tonight as well..hope he will play.

Lillard to stay calm and not play mind games with those assholes Beverly and PG, even though when he does play it, he send them to Cancun.

    Go Blazers.

It probably should have been in green font. I was kind of joking but not completely.
I have watched him so far this season and my overall is he isn’t working with the team on the second unit. I feel he has been more willing to look for his own shot.

I read that, those two guys have already squashed that publicly. The real beef is between Dame and PatBev... they legit can't stand each other but it's not a story because Beverly is a nobody, in NBA terms (I mean the guy is still a starter at the highest level of his industry and makes 13+ million a year) so he's just not the kind of guy who ESPN writes a story about unless something happens the day before or some shit like that.

I still don't think CJ will be guarding Paul George.
That was before Lillard's sister got into it with PG's gf.

I mean that's still not really their beef though. I'm sure him and PG aren't as cool as Dame is with most of the league but they are far cooler than Dame and PatBev.
