    Getting in better shape will solve a lot of these issues. Hard to be mentally engaged when the legs are dragging and you can't jump as high as you wanted to.

    Part is he still looks out of shape.
    I imagine part is he is seemingly asked to do a ton of dirty work with no reward. Set a pick up top, watch a 3 go up and fight 1 on 4 for a rebound. Now sprint back on D and cover for 3 guys. Repeat. I dont think he makes great decisions on the block all the time, but I think he needs to be "rewarded" with way more post up opportunities and ability to run the offense from the block than he is getting. Otherwise, I imagine you run in to that disinterest.

    Nurk is flatout, playing awful. Especially on the offensive end. His finishing is worse than i've ever seen. I love Nurk, as many Blazers fans do, but he needs to figure it out, and soon. He literally looks like he's forgotten how to shoot the ball near the basket. He's playing like a total stiff right now, and IT HAS TO CHANGE, if the Blazers are to be the team they, and many of us, think they are. C'mon Nurk.

    Just look at Nurk in 2019. Visibly skinnier, moving way better.

    Right now, he's the type of plodding center that is unplayable in the modern game.

    I actually don't see a big difference in size. He just looks super rusty right now. And he's not tracking the ball off the glass as well so far. I'm hoping he gets it going soon.
