Well they would have had it over 24 hrs with the laptop. If there were someone smart enough that's enough of time to copy the hard drive and get plenty of information.

I agree. A human life was needlessly lost--and I think the tragedy was that we have a society that could radicalize her in such a way. I legitimately consider that sad, in the sincere form of the word, not the ironic form. I nevertheless have a hard time feeling sorry for her, which is a different thing.
That’s a fair response. As more information comes out, I may have less sympathy for her if it turns out she was more than a gullible knucklehead. For now, I am giving her the benefit of the doubt.

There’s certainly an order of magnitude difference between the assault on the Capitol and the rioting around the Federal Courthouse in Portland last summer. But there were reports of people breaking windows, entering the building, starting fires and throwing fireworks and other incendiary devices at officers.
As a humanist I don't like to see anyone get killed. It's possible this woman had PTSD, I don't know. It's possible she knowingly committed an act of sedition. Again, I don't know. I find it hard to really cry for people who commit acts of violence and it backfires against them. This crowd, at least significant portions of it, was actively looking to harm people, not just building, there were stated plans to kidnap and execute Congressmembers and even VP Pence for saying he couldn't overturn election. So I won't cheer her death but I won't mourn like I did for, say, Kent State (yes dating myself) or Brianna Taylor. People who were innocent.
