This win almost makes up for the Chicago loss.

Chicago has looked decent since that game.

Yeah but I only feel a bit better about this win than that loss. Mostly we played like crap today. We threw the ball away. We gave up loads of open threes. We let people drive past us. We willingly took low percentage shots. I feel like we just lucked out.

Pretty much the same win Golden State got from them last night. The Raptors are not a bad team. They have just been on the road most of the beginning of the season.

Nice win but a couple of things bugged the hell out of me.

One was the traveling call on Covington after he stole the ball. NBA players travel all game long..... why call that one? There were about 50 other times in the game where traveling was more obvious.

The second was the last play of the game. Aren't those types of situations the perfect scenario for Jones to be in the game?
I don't hate Stotts as much as most, but he drives me crazy when he refuses to play his best 5 defenders in the closing seconds of a game.

the last play of the game was lucky as hell. we signed Jones for that very kind of situation. why he wasn't there next to Cov is an absolute blunder that terry got away with. one among many other decisions that left me scratching my head tonight.

Dame started hitting a few as well as melo and then of course Roco hit one. The last 5-6 minutes they cleaned up the shooting and clamped down on defense.

We actually won this game at the free throw line. We had 2 fewer made shots, 5 fewer made 3’s and the Raptors were a perfect 12 for 12 at free throws. But we went 22/25 from the line.

Agree with that - we had a lot of open looks on the wings all night. Felt like Chicago.

Exactly what i was thinking. I wonder if it was just an experiment that worked for Stotts? We watched him put in Giles and that absolutely didn't work at all. so he went back to Melo and Roco with Trent. The funny part is Melo was getting his hands on passes and got a couple blocks from what i watched. He set pretty good screens for Dame and of course can hit a shot when asked.

It feels like the sky has fallen every other game, but we're only one loss behind the best record in the league.
