Kanter killing it. Yes his D not good but the whole team is bad on defense. Stotts played same line up of 2nd bench just terrible. Simmons should not be allowed to play at all

As bad as our D has been, I can’t believe we’re only down 7. Our three point shooting is the only thing keeping us in it. When that dries up, it could get ugly.

that CJ + Melo running the offense for the fist half of the 2nd Q was really bad. Unfortunately, their defense was worse

 

Hood is done. DJJ, RoCo, Gary are 31%, 33%, 43% from 3 coming in to this game. Not too far from what you could hope for. All in all Aminu and Hark might have been better though. I think it’s close.

13 attempts is too many and you want more stuff going to them? I'd prefer the guys shooting 16% to take less shots.

DJJ is the new Aminu.
An absolute enigma on the offensive end of the court. Teams don't even have to begin to respect his shot so the Blazers end up playing 4 on 5 with an extra defender cruising the passing lanes because he doesn't have to worry about Jones making a shot.

Go ahead and watch every offensive possession he is on the court in the second half. He will not only be open sitting there he will wide wide wide open and his defender will be in the paint or at the top of the key mixing it up and clogging the lanes.

There is a place for him but absolutely not any more as a starter.

 

if that's the case, then the new GM can trade him after he fails to surround Dame with a better roster

 

And Stotts isn't even trying to find ways to get him involved.
