He's pushing this bipartisan stuff and it's exactly what Barack did in the first part of his tenure. It's not gonna happen with the Turtle leading the charge in the GOP senate.

Just say fuck it and push that agenda down their throats. We have the majority. It's the only way to move this country forward. I want everything. More environmental regulation, stimulus package, pack the court. Just fucking do it. Improve peoples lives and they'll realize how crooked the GOP is for holding them back.

that's the funny thing about Obamas Presidency. The GOP likes to paint him as a liberal, socialist, etc, but really, he was at best a centrist. Same with Biden.

When a Democrat is in office, Republicans demand that the Democrats capitulate to their side, no matter who is in charge of the house or senate.

And when a Republican is in office, Republicans demand that the Democrats capitulate to their side, no matter who is in charge of the house or senate.

And in both cases, the Democrat wilts under pressure because they actually have a conscience and care more about getting the approval of the GOP/conservatives than they do their own party.

The system is designed with checks and balances if any one party/person goes awry. No matter what happens, Biden still has a mandate from 81 million people and 7 million more than his opponent. Not to mention the majority in the House as well, and the recent wins in the Senate. His conscience should be clear.

The Biden Agenda is exactly what the people want. Give it to them and tell Mitch to kick rocks. McConnell hasn't passed a single meaningful bill in his tenure as leader. Don't let him impede progress anymore.

oh, I 100% agree with you about this, I'm just saying that D's tend to waffle a lot. It's one of my biggest pet peeves about them.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
They tend to waffle a lot because they still believe that the approval of the American people matters. And it kind of does matter for them--Republicans are more immune to having to actually care what Americans think due to gerrymandering and the fact that the set up of the Senate and Electoral College gives small state voters more political power than large state voters. So Republicans can engage in extreme, largely unpopular actions without having to pay much of a price, whereas Democrats are much more likely to lose elections if they do the same.

I like your post but these two are not a favorite for me. Somehow I thought of them as teenagers talking at their sleepover.

Joe Biden has signed a flurry of executive orders. I do not abide to a few of them.
The immigration floodgate is a concern for all of us. The influx of people that plagued Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and the US was well documented. The positive Covid 19 aspect is a blockade for sure. I feel if someone comes here, they should have a skillset that contributes to our society and be enrolled into the taxpayer system just like we all have to expect ourselves. They should be assigned a SS# and earn their keep. If I have to fill out tax returns, so should a new citizen. Education should be paid for by them, not given when our citizens are denied, placed outside of these opportunities or turned away by biased affirmative action groups.

Point 2: The Pennsylvania pipe line from Canada should continue. Massive amounts of money were infused into this project with two countries depending on the benefits this energy flow project would distribute. The Alaskan oil pipe line was created decades ago and with these experiences we should have a fail safe system. Fracking jobs should not be torn away from the common Joes that seek a two week paycheck. Eventually, programs should be instituted aimed towards capping these wells. Meanwhile production should continue only in areas that are established and considered safe from massive water pollution, which is likely to occur.

Bottom Line: Otherwise, I am happy to have a leader that can be associated as an open transparent people's president rather a self absorbed egotistical dis honest asshole like Trump. Some of Joe's agenda I do not agree with but his leadership and human qualities are highly important to me. You have to look at the big picture and determine how safe you feel as an American citizen. You may not agree with everything but you know your faith in your leader is of paramount importance and he is strong.

We know that big D fancies Ivanka. Now we learn the little D fancies big D.

We need Ivanka to fancy Eric and Eric to fancy little D to finish the circle (and we now know that the J in DJ Trump stands for jerk).
