You bought your team hook, line and sinker. You told me you had no bias and could see, not many days ago. It is clear that isn't the case. If you ever have anything constructive to add to a conversation, I will listen. But your bias is as strong as any Trump supporters that I have ever seen my friend. Therefore your words are just as meaningful to any political conversation as any Trump supporters words are.
saying the newly elected pres and vice will sell out the country is not an unbiased or constructive political discussion....I'm a supporter of my vote and the direction it's heading...we can talk about that but saying both are sell outs actually sounds alot like something Trump would say...has said....I call it like I see it and so far I like what I see. We can talk about that if you like but if all you have are negative affirmations then we'll probably disagree about it
Both parties are selling America out right in front of our eyes. Yet our bias to our party/country, even our social constructs, especially our social constructs keep us from seeing it. We pick a party, and we Americans defend it to the death. Same thing happens when you pick a team, maybe a product: Chevy or Ford?, McDonald's or Burger King?. Our social constructs blind us more than any other factor, in my opinion. When you can see past them, you can truly learn to see what is going on right in front of our eyes. Until that time, people will remain blissfully blinded by their own biases/bubbles. Both parties literally argue exactly the same when it comes to defending their own party/candidate, and yet they can't even see that much. How am I suppose to believe they can even see at all? The last factor that I find the most annoying. Nobody believes links anymore and logic doesn't work, therefore most every "debate" literally comes down to... your word against theirs. This will always lead to failure, as well as a good waste of time arguing with people over "each others beliefs". You will never get anywhere this way. I find humans illogical in the fact that they don't speak about real things, it always comes down to the economy and where will the money come from? (our social constructs), they never seem to argue from a human factor. Which is sad to see. If anyone has anything more to add in disagreement, that is fine. Please, set your biased head aside first and bring me something real. Thanks. Edit: It comes to mind that "democrat" and "republican" are both great examples of some of our social constructs.
loyalty and convictions are real things...they often are arrived at by considering real events, facts and information....like a vote or choice of entertainment....being loyal to a cause or adamant against something you feel is dangerously wrong does not make you blind or dealing in unrealistic thoughts and actions....those are our choices...we're very real whether we see the same outcome or differ. I say this without taking a political side or bias...we are our own filters of truth and that in my view is something to respect ..I respect the response to Jan 6th by the current administration
They most certainly are not the same, as Al Franken's resignation proved. So, that's just not true. Money is not real? Try to get services or product from your friendly providers without exchanging money for it and tell us how it goes. No disrespect, but this sentence is illogical. Define "real". So far, all I am seeing is a log of dogma, bot no solutions.
Not at all disagreeing with the "us" vs "them" narrative, but I suppose my question is what does "selling out america" mean to you?
We have literal slave labor in American jails. Have you seen how much a prisoner makes an hour in America? (Corporations are exploiting prisoners, right in front of us) (Prisoners are worth a lot to corporations) Hell as far as I am concerned, $7.25 an hour is slave labor. The $15 an hour that is on the table now, is still too low for America. And when you can see what America should be if our own government would take their fingers off the scales. I watch videos like this one that show me America's rot. After you watch enough of them, you get the picture that nobody cares about these problems as nobody is doing anything at all to correct them. America has the money to do so, we just don't care to do so. America is rotting right in front of all of our eyes. Learn why we have homeless, why we can't send money to America's schools yet our military never has that problem. It always comes back to our government and greed.

Ah, my literal thinking can be a funny thing. To answer crandc. My autistic side can be irrational at times. My logical side is the only one that can be reasoned with. Nobody seems to care to talk to my logical side though. To further answer. I find humans to be programmable, and we Americans to be the dumbest sons of bitches on this planet. Edit: I don't want anyone to think the last part of this post was directed at anyone here. We have intelligent people in America. But collectively when it comes to politics, our illogical irrational sides can all take over.
