We have Hulu. Haven't really considered anything else. Should we?

We use a digital antenna (in our attic) for local stations. No cable.

Youtube TV is good for live TV and the unlimited online dvr is nice. We have hulu on demand with no ads though and like that much better for binge watching standard TV programs. The hulu library for on demand is much better also.

Im pretty sure they all have free trial periods if you want to check them out.

    What do you watch?

I have YoutubeTV but its a shared family account. Its pretty good, I'm on a plan based in the NW so I get free blazer games that way.

I just last night went back to Comcast.

I was paying $69 to Comcast for 400mps internet and $30 to Sling.

Comcast raised that to $79 for internet.

But we went into a Comcast store last night and switched service from my name to Mrs Spd's name and now get 200mps (if 200mps isn't good enough I can go back to 400 for an extra $10/month but it should be fine), 400 channels, and HBO for one year for $94/month on a year only contract.

I have my own cable modem and use the Xfinity app on our smart TVs so I'm saving $20+ in their stupid monthly equipment rental charges.

So check what your local cable company has because sometimes you can get better introductorily offer than what you're paying for in internet only and the different TV services.

Oregon libraries have really expanded their streaming offerings during the last year. You should check what your local library has to offer.

According to the googles it looks like Tennessee libraries are partnered with Hoopla.

more shocking is that in Tennessee the library has "tapes"....even in logging country Oregon we have moved onto CDs and ebooks

Actually Tennessee libraries have an amazing collection of Tennessee recorded music that is free to stream to library card holders. The collection spans the earliest recordings of some of music's greatest artists.

That would be cool to have access to.

No, just trying to guess why you were dismissive when someone suggested libraries.

Sly, I know about libraries without you having to suggest them. I'm an avid fan of public libraries. Have spent countless hours in them. Countless. When I first moved to Nashville, spent almost every day in one for my e-mail and internet provider. I was, again, being facetious with riverguide. Roll with me.

I used to have safe sex with girls in libraries without our parents knowing back in high school.
