    That would be awesome data to see, regardless of the outcome. I know the assumption is that you get more fast breaks off misses than makes, but it could be wrong.

    Sounds like the test we need is:

    Uncontested layup/dunks points per possession - points per possession off a make

    vs

    Points per possession off open 3's + offensive rebound scoring rate off open 3 - points per possesion off uncontested 3's.

    Second Specturm probably has that data.

    Just got home and turned the game on. Saw were down by 30. Thought to myself well shit I’m guessing they’re probably killing us from outside with 3’s

    Checked the box score on the ESPN app.

    YUP! They’re shooting 65% from 3

    Mind boggling how this team hasn’t been able to make that adjustment and it’s been our weakness for years.
