It's absolutely inexcusable that we still have these problems on a level that is different but equivalent to when the civil rights movement happened in the 60's. Laws were changed but culture wasn't and there is simply no accountability for those laws that were changed. Racism is not only still legal, it's part of our laws, our law enforcement and the prosecution of those laws... these aren't opinions they are statistical and factual realities. I'm sorry that you have to deal with these realities in ways that I don't. We all need to do our part to make things right. I think this is very important and obviously basketball is intersecting with it and although I'm not going to report this thread it should be in the OT forum. That being said if it were, a lot of people wouldn't see your incredibly important post. I would have given your post a like because I believe wholeheartedly what you are saying but I can't like something that is so fucking depressing. Just know that I appreciate your openness and message.

    I agree, fuck the Seahawks!

(I don't actually know what this is in reference to, so I'm going to just assume it's about annoying Seahawk fans)

What does the number 12 have to do with the police?

12 is the drug unit. Fuck 12 has become synonymous with the whole department now though

I agree with HCP. I always heard 5-0 growing up.
12 seems like an unnecessarily obscure reference.

I grew up with 5-0 too. Fuck 12 was popularized by several rappers and is now used to denote dislike for the police

Officer Barbrady has dropped his suit. Ujiri has dropped his countersuit.

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Alameda County sheriff's deputy who was seen shoving the Toronto Raptors president after the Canadian team beat the Warriors in June 2019 on Wednesday dropped his federal lawsuit against Masai Ujiri.

In response, Ujiri dropped his countersuit against Deputy Alan Strickland, KTVU has learned.

In addition, Strickland has since returned to work, according to Alameda County Sheriff's spokesman Ray Kelly. He has been assigned to administrative duties. The exact return date was not revealed.

Neither side will gain any money as part of the mutual agreement, and each side will pay their own attorney's fees.
