Not surprised. Dame will probably never start in an allstar game unless there is an injury. Bullshit. Whiny baby fucking Doncic gets picked ahead of Dame. Dame has been waiting and they give it Doncic who has been in the league what 2 and a half seasons. Dame just spanked his ass a few days ago. Fuck the NBA.

When talking about something decided by fan vote, "deserving" is largely irrelevant. Blazer fans are going to vote for their guy, Warrior fans will vote for theirs, etc. According to the link below, Dallas is the 5th biggest market in the States, the Bay Area is the 6th while Portland is the 22nd. Math is math.

    https://mediatracks.com/resources/nielsen-dma-rankings-2020/

Additionally, according to the spreadsheet I set up for my fantasy league to evaluate players based purely on our 8 stats (pnts, FG%, 3's made, FTs made, steals, blks, rbs, assts) Luka has put up the 5th best stats thus far, Steph the 7th & Dame the 9th. I love Dame but can be realistic about whats what. Those two are legit and enjoy the advantages of playing for much bigger markets. This went as expected.

So should we get a bunch of fans together and break the hell out of the Moda Center? I think that’s how that is supposed to work...

Im okay with it. Fair? Hell no.
    Dame Time motivator? Hell yeah.

but if i was Dame, id boycott. Except he'd be called a whining bitch.

id still boycott the weekend. But he cant.
So whats left? More Dame Time.

Some fools in the nba gonna regret not voting for Dame over the next few weeks.

No No No.... We go to Dallas and break up American Airlines Arena. Some call it the Triple A (AAA) but we don't really want to piss off the old folks and Millennial's that can't change a tire.

I want him to handle it something like last year. The week or even the game before the break get a non basketball related "Strain" (wink wink) and have to pull out. Let Booker get the nod again. Then go and enjoy the week with his family.

Of course, this shows the very problem with going by stats alone. There's absolutely no context to them. They aren't universal and all-encompassing.

It'd be interesting if they polled GMs and personnel directors to see who they'd prefer having right now, Dame or Luka. I suspect they wouldn't turn out the same result as the fan vote.

Agree with another country adding to vote total, makes big difference. As far as caring whether they start of course they care, this guy and every other NBA player live for the notoriety that comes with being one of the best. Even more motivation foe Dame

Thats what they do at the end of the year for the All NBA teams. For the guard selections these 3 plus Harden will likely make up the first two teams.

I don’t like fan voting but tie breaker should come down to coaches and players not fans

Comes down to market size. Plus Doncic would get all the Euro votes from those who really dont know how good Dame is.
Great to see at least the media talking about how Dame got snubbed. Hopefully this helps him win MVP!

Im not sure because he's White he gets it? Do ylu realize how big Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas is, not to mention Doncic popularity around the world.
There's a black players that got snubbed to like Donavon Mitchell, but he to is in a small market area. Just my opinion.

Has it changed? Last I knew the all-NBA team was selected by the media.

I'd like to see how the Blazers players voted. Hopefully they didn't vote for Doncic at all..ha
