The Blazers make a lot of games must-win because they fritter away too many games they should win.

Each game is a microcosm of that. We get a lead and everything thinks that gives them the freedom to take questionable shots. And then every game comes down to the last minute or the last couple of possessions and we drop games we shouldn't because you've allowed them to remain close.

 

I don't know, he gets it to teammates to set up their own stuff and the ball just stalls. He's dishing dimes all day long. The guy is being asked to do too much. It's like without CJ's iso shit, Stotts has no other ideas how to initiate offense... oh besides Melo's iso shit. I don't think Kanter was that bad. He knows you can't play Jokic tight or he spins around you and then if he has a clear path to the basket he lays it in. If not he makes a pass to a guy wide open for the corner three. Those are the two most efficient shots in basketball.
Without Gary Harris out, we maybe should have figured out how to help Kanter more.
