They are not in that game for dame to take over without Carmelo Anthony and Robert Covington tonight.

Once again, that $2.4 million we are paying Melo is a GOD DAMN STEAL. He has won us multiple games already.

We won this game at the FT line - plane and simple. The Warriors were sending 2 at Dame all night and he made the right passes or drive and caught them cheating or scrambling causing a foul. Everyone did their job at the line (ROLO’s 2 misses at the end made it interesting though). Good teams find ways to win ugly games - the coaching staff deserves some credit here along with our All-NBA Lillard. Also we don’t win this game without Melo and the bench.

I only think he needs to win one but it's kind of bullshit because he's way more clutch than Horry or even Chauncey because he is his team's offense and then he manages to take these other teams out all of the time. They spend the whole game trying to take him out, tonight it worked, usually it doesn't work so well and then Dame just snatches up teams' souls. Not to bring it in here but Dame's excellence deserves a system and players that make teams pay for blitzing him and he needs defenders to cover for his biggest weakness.

    I believe so.

We beat 76ers, Mavericks, and now Warriors. We lost the game in Phoenix.

Well said, this is also huge because we gutted out an ugly one against a team that is playing above .500 ball and we don't have too many of those wins. So it really gives us something to build on, especially if we can close this first half out against the Kings.

Great point. The Blazers need to finish strong against Sac. It’s all wasted if we hang an L at home before the break... I have faith in this team!

Anyone feeling deja vu on that game-saving defensive play by Lillard?

    Those plays are like......

Same score and everything. My mind is blown.

This is the best I have seen Melo play in a long time. He looks to be in excellent shape too.

How many minimum contract guys have we had that have helped win us more game than him? Not counting in-season waiver pickups.

I do not love Melo's game, he's cost us a handful of times, but he's came up large a lot too.
