They aren't equally as effective. Each is different. Unless they are the exact formulation, it's impossible to be equally as effective..

Not sure who these people are who think government should solve all their problems. But I know lots of people who claim to be for small government but want government to dictate every pregnancy, make it really hard to vote, restrict which consenting adults can marry and are positively obsessed with what restrooms people use.

I prefer the Pfizer but the Moderna is virtually as good. The two shot Pfizer takes a total of six weeks be at peak protection while the Moderna takes a total of 8 weeks for it's two shots to arrive at peak protection.
I've heard that the single shot Johnson and Johnson will protect you from serious harm from the Covid-19 even going so far as keeping you out of the hospital should you get Covid-19 after your single Johnson and Johnson shot.
    Here, this might help:

I've used two versions of CAD and neither had safety programmed into them. Safety came from a Civil engineer's calculations. Just for useless information all branches of engineering working on a building start with the Architect's CAD drawings from different what they call 'perspectives'. We then modify those drawings to meet our designs. I've seen final drawings from the Architect, Electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical engineering and fire, life, safety engineering. I think the biggest designs I've seen my company design were the MAC center, the Crater Lake lodge and the OSU computer building. At another consulting engineering company I worked at I designed a U.S. Forestry building and a Boeing manufacturing building energy analysis in Gresham, Oregon. One of my lead engineers did the electrical design of the Portland VA hospital. We all started out with the architect's CAD work and modified it to fit each of our specialized needs.

You remind me of a little boy who lived next door to me, Chucky, who always had a Million questions. You would answer one question and there would be a follow up, rinse and repeat. In your case, unlike Chucky, I see a need for an answer. I'm not sure you're going to get it in here unless we get an answer from @illuminatic or whatever his exact moniker is.

Moderna is two weeks after the second shot, so six weeks too. At least that's what they told me at OHSU and they gave it to me.

My anti-vax Republican friend is convinced that all these shots are "experimental gene therapy." Truly uninformed people.

It is definitely experimental. mRNA vaccines haven’t been used this widely before, especially with little to no relative trial period. Whether ones opinion of it is good or bad, they do alter the way your cells reproduce, that’s literally how they are supposed to work. That might be what your friend is calling “gene therapy” although I’m not familiar with that term.

My apology for being condescending. Just tired of people being lumped into bullshit like illmatic's video above. The fact is these "vaccines" have not been anywhere close to as rigorously tested as traditional vaccines and are only approved under emergency authorization.

Its rich that he's complaining about being condescending when his post reeks of it.

Modern medicine has saved my life literally twice.....not once did I question the quality of the medicines used to cure me...both times they worked....first time was a flesh eating bacteria that took two weeks quarantine in a hospital and 72 injections....bullshit would be refusing the medicine out of unfounded fears and if I'd done that I'd be dead.....no sympathy for anti public health paranoia from my camp. I listen to the pandemic experts and trust them.
