I would add to that, that anyone who incited the riot ought to be punished. The law will say how much they get punished. Those who incited would include Trump, jr., Hawley and those in the crowd who yelled yes, break the windows or we have to get inside stuff like that even though they might have not entered the Capitol building. The guy carrying the zip ties ought to receive extra punishment. I'm not going to say what the punishment ought to be but I am saying that it ought to be more than the rioters who broke windows, spray painted and set fires that didn't endanger anyone because they couldn't endanger anyone. Should the city rioters be punished? Hell yes, but not as severely as those who broke into the capitol and encouraged the riot to the point that someone bludgeoned a police officer to death. The January 6th riot was serious enough to where one Secret Service agent fired at a perp, killing her. I have heard of no shots being fired by police at any rioters in the city riots which means they weren't deadly serious.
I need to get out of this before I get people angry with me which is the opposite of what I want. In short, I feel I'm now being counter productive.

Setting the police hq on fire with people trapped inside is attempted murder. They attempted to try to burn a building down with knowledge of people inside. But you call it vandalism and arsen.

Then 90% of the capital protesters were nothing but trespassers. No more. No less.

but you can keep downplaying that and ill keep downplaying jan 6th in return.

I have no problem with anybody who set buildings on fire being arrested and charged. I don't think anybody has a problem with that.

 

based on comments l, statements and opinions throughout last summer, it was a vastly different tone...

“people need to let them vent.”

“Anyone who condemns the vandalism is a borderline racist and missing the point.”

“This should be dismissed as hopeless outrage...”

blah blah blah.

so some hard core righties also felt helpless( feeling you are losing your government can feel hopeless l, valid or not) and vandalized the capital.
But in here. In S2 there, is little to zero consistency with the condemnation of breaking laws. When the people of the streets did it last year it was mostly dismissed as venting.

so you are fairly wrong in your assessment based on peoples comments last year.

Its been my experience when people exhibit passive aggressive behavior, they are having internal issues of some kind and not able to be upfront and honest.
Is there anything i can do to help you put? I don't want you to suffer in this way.
