I'd rather have Bjelevich. Byelevic. Byelivic. Okay then, I'd rather have Nimanya.

    We should trade for Lebron.

He likes Lillard and he's kinda good.

I was wondering how you've amassed nearly 100,000 posts and then I read this one.

    Likely neither one....

Between the two of them, Aldridge has a ~35% chance of being bought out and signing with Portland on a minimum. Gordon has <10% chance he's traded to Portland.

he's a top level athlete who can switch to guard 1-4. he's a great shooter who has the physical skills and mobility to be a great defender and rebounder. Never ever saw playmaking as a need for the SF position.

This is harder to find than a 6'5 shooter who does little else. Those guys are a dime a dozen in the league this year. Great that Gary developed from a forgotten second rounder, but he's more replaceable than someone with Nas' size and skills, especially when Nas is on a rookie deal for two more years, while Gary will put us well into the tax with any extension this summer.

Sorry, reading back, I realize by mentioning Nas, it makes it seem like I was arguing for moving him INSTEAD of Trent, and that's not the case at all. I prefer keeping him to Trent, because of contract status. I wouldn't hesitate to include him in a deal for Gordon, however, if he were needed instead of Trent

Ya my point remains even for Gordon v Nas. Think Nas is also more valuable than AG when you look at contracts and our tax situation.

Nas doesn't have a lot of value for Portland if Stotts keeps him below Hood in the rotation

That's terry's problem. Not gonna assess value based on the decisions our idiot coach takes.

obviously; but it seems pretty clear Stotts will be coach at least until the playoffs are over

don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want Nas to be part of a deal for Gordon. Trent, ok because of his contract situation. Simons ok, if Orlando insists on one young asset. Not Little

Ya in my mind, it's a foregone conclusion that Terry is gone this summer unless we make a deep playoff run. He's not gonna be a lame duck next season. Think there's finally a sufficient amount of noise about his ineptitude to get him fired a year before his contract ends, especially given Dame's sense of urgency.

I just hope that if Stotts is going to be held accountable by losing his job that Olshey will be too.

    Saw this on RealGM but

    Hood + Trent + Collins + Elleby

    For

    Gordon + Bacon + SRP

Works and puts Blazers 78k under the tax line. I think this is do-able from our end.

It also solves two problems on our end: paying both RFAs at the end of the season.

Plus Gordon and Bacon's contracts both expire in 2022, the same year that Nurk/Covington/Simons/Possible Jones are all up for new contracts, and probably the year that the Blazers will need to make some serious decisions about the future of the team as it relates to the Dame/CJ pairing. (Both will make a combined 80 million that season)
