Hard pass on trading Little. I'd rather trade Trent.

I’m not trading little for anything less than a star, none of this Ariza caliber crap. Simons is the guy we should be looking to move. He doesn’t fit here no matter how much Olshey or anyone else likes him. We have enough shooting guards.

Considering how much athleticism Simons has, the dude is extremely one dimensional. He can only shoot and that's it. Not a good defender. Not a good passer. Not a good slasher. Just a shooter and that's it. He'll have a niche in the league but he's certainly not a budding star.

I'm not against trading any Blazer (not named Lillard), but we need to be smart here.

Little is showing promise but his value isn't what it could be. If he cold return an All-Star caliber forward, sure sign me up. However, that's not going to happen and, in the case of Nas, it might be best to let him progress. Two-way wings are so difficult to find and I think he'll continue to improve.

GT is our best, most realistic trade chip we have to offer. He tries on defense and is already one of the best 3-point shooters in the game. It's beautiful thinking of him in a finishing five lineup with Dame and CJ on the offensive end. The more space we can open up for those two guards, the better. Although, Portland really isn't hurting too bad on that end of the floor. The big question is, can Trent defend NBA SF's? We're historically bad on defense and playing Dame, CJ, and Trent together doesn't remedy that at all. There's also the upcoming contract Trent will surely receive in the summer. Is Portland willing to commit 100M to Dame, CJ, and Trent? If that answer is no, then move him at the deadline. The last thing we can afford is to let GT walk while receiving nothing in return. I will say I wouldn't just move him for anything. If nothing materializes by the 25th, keep him, sign him, and see how everything comes together.

What do people think of Mason Plumlee? Detroit is allegedly shopping him.

Plumlee at 4-5M/year might be a better option than Kanter at the same price, His defense is certainly better

but he makes 8.3M/year and has 2 more years on his deal. Can't see the Blazers taking that on without some pain
