    I'm always willing to take shots at Olshey, but watching Brown last season, I thought he was just too slow to be an NBA player. I wouldn't have brought him back either. Of course, I'm not being paid 8 million a year to make those decisions. And it would be nice if the 2nd tallest healthy Blazer wasn't Rodney Hood

    I highly doubt that. Utah is dealing with some bad PR about racism and they're actually putting out press about a transgender law in Utah. They don't want to lose the All-Star game that's coming up for them. I think they're the one team that WOULDN'T sign him for sure.

    I knew meyers was gonna get put out of the league because he's such an awful player with no business being in the NBA, but I didn't expect this would be how it would happen.

    Meyers will be back in the nba, I almost guarantee it. Teams will just wait until things blow over. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t on a team next season. Not that I think he’s a good player or anything, but teams value good cheerleaders. And shooting is still the most valued commodity.

    The risk - reward equation would say no chance. Why would an owner want a guy who isn’t good except on rare occasion, who said what he said? Piss off fans and sponsors and employees for 5ppg? Yeah no thanks.

    because no one will care about what he said by next season. At the end of the day it was a big idiot saying a stupid thing while playing video games. There’s been guys that have done worse and survived. Desean jackson posted a hitler quote and is still employed. Both are cases of ignorance rather than hate. Meyers will be fine.
