    we need to get under the tax line now. we're about 600k under now.

    Is that enough, considering 40% of the season is left? A prorated minimum for Porter might fall under that? Not sure

    That makes the Bulls pretty formidable in the East. Their actually only three games out of the 4th seed. I like the way Vucevic fits with that roster.

    Whatever they are under the cap, between it only being about 40% of a vet minimum salary and something about the league picking up a portion of vet minimum salaries, I believe there is room.

    I just think it's a pretty simple call, "Hey Rafael Stone (whoever the fuck you are) can we guarantee that first rounder for this year? OK thanks." Now we have three future firsts we can deal with.

    I'm always confused by their site, but they have total taxable salary, and total salary, and I believe the total salary is actually the one, which has it about 1.8 below.

    Nurk isn't playing enough games this season to get a 1.25 million dollar bonus that shows up on his cap number. That's where that extra money is coming from.
