Well we can pray that this opens up CJ to be traded. Powell is a "win now" starter that could replace CJ and free up CJ to be moved for someone at small forward or power forward.

It doesn't help the frontcourt... but this is an upgrade for the team.
This likely means more time for Little as SF.
Also, this drops us to 13 players - so now we need to find someone on the buyout market.

Sidenote: Magic decided to pass on Ariza/Collins/2 firsts (one of which was the 16th pick) for Gordon in the off season only trade him for Gary Harris (Who cares)/ Hampton (24th pick)/ and a future top 16 protected first. Ariza was flipped for a second, and Collins could probably have been as well.

    What a stupid organization.

This is the organization that low-balled Shaq after all.

Maybe Neil stop pursuing Gordon when he found out that Aldridge will come back here

That must be Hapoel, because Maccabi is actually a good team.

They might be dumb but that was the most effective demolition of a team I may have ever seen. Three moves, one morning, all three players making over 16M.

Whether he is 6'3 or 6'4 or 6' 5..... he is 215 pounds with a 6'11 wingspan. What other scorer do we have like that?

That is a beautiful shot chart...
Almost no mid- to long-range 2s.

Can he throw a lob pass? Now that would be awesome as well.

A 2 for 1 deal. We were already two down (I don't include Blevins). There's no way we don't have one or two buyout candidates lined up, or perhaps even another teade.

    Per Woj:

Oklahoma City now has a projected 34 draft picks over the next 7 years.

    17- First
    17- Second

    That's crazy.

I would be surprised if Powell opts out of his deal cause he is making 11m next year and good chance cap is not going up and might even come down a little so unless there is a stupid team out there willing to give out like 15 million per year only reason he MIGHT opt out is for chance to start. I am not saying he will not opt out but i think good chance he will be a Blazer next season UNLIKE Trent who prolly will not cause he will prolly get a 10 to 12 m offer and i am not sold on Trent yet but this is a small gamble on the Blazers part that Trent might not be as good as he has showed.

Crazy enough to be worth posting twice. ;)

The thought of Presti with that much flexibility to rebuild the Thunder is scary.
