Not flawed dude. You may disagree with the comment but my thinking is just fine. So you think Jody and Bert both think Terry and Neil are horrible workers? I believe they measure someones performance more that just championships, sure making playoffs is one criteria and winning it all is bonus. As long as the team performs well enough, and fans are buying tickets and tuning in, and its the only major one, of the big three and ownership is part of a huge corporate conglomerate that can be enough for many owner ship group. It the prerogative of the owner and his executive team to set what criteria keeps a coaches & GM job.
So if Stotts apologists are so sick and tired of hearing the same arguments from the #FireStotts crowd, why do you keep clicking and posting in a thread titled Fire Stotts Now??? No one is forcing you to click on this thread. There are thousands of threads in this forum. I don't go around clicking on every thread. I only click on the threads that interest me. Maybe create a Keep Stotts Now thread and congregate in there.
Its the ownership and the executive team that decides what is acceptable performance. They can let things slide if numbers are decent or they can fire people for whatever reason? Im not endorsing Stotts and Neil staying or leaving Im evaluating our ownership on what they define as success enough to keep a job. It all starts at the top.
Why don't you write a letter to Jody and Bert expressing your dissatisfaction with the ones running their team? Consumers have pull if communicated properly and not just on fanatic fan forums.
I think both the Mariners and Blazers organizations are average at best as neither have been that successful as far advancing far in the playoffs.

But we hadn't won at that point and things weren't looking super encouraging. I'll never understand you guys who go back into the game threads and retroactively respond to posts that are made in the heat of the moment. They're two completely different types of posts. One is made while the game is going on and is real-time, and the other kind of post is able to look at it knowing whether we won or lost, without the emotions of a live game. And before you say it, we know that you can't post during the game. What you're doing is essentially traveling back in time and telling people from the 1400s that they're morons for not knowing the earth was round, despite them not having space travel or satellites or any of the technology that we have today. Do you think people would be as emotional and angry if they knew we would win by 20 while we're tied up with Detroit in the first half?
When my kids were constantly complaining about work place, friends, whatever, I said if you feel that strongly about something at least try and do something about it. Meetings, letters, whatever means possible, if you are not successful, decide is it worth it or not?
We are doing something. We're bitching on a forum. Beyond that, what else can we realistically do to get rid of Stotts and Olshey? Pool our couch money and buy the Blazers?

You really get into this don’t you? Bro that thread last night...... if you just read it, you would have thought we almost lost that game by 50! Even when we were up 20 with a minute left! At no point did anybody say, “My bad” “I was wrong” anything like that. No different than when we are up 20 on a team early and these clowns have us heading to the Finals, only to win by 2! That's fair. It's the people that say I'm sick and tired of hearing it but then click on the thread and complain about what they're reading. It makes zero sense to me. There's no clickbait in the title of the thread. You know what you're getting.
Thats true bitching can be effective. I managed people for 40 plus years and the one's that complained the most were the one that were preoccupied with slacking off and not meeting productivity expectations. They could either improve performance, work somewhere else or get their ass fired.
I don't know why you guys care so much about what other people post about the team. Who cares if there are people who are angry at the team? Why does it bother you so much? Get over it. Or ignore them. Instead you get on and personally attack those people, which to me is much worse than someone who is venting about the team. You're actually attacking people who are on this forum. Is Stotts on this forum? Is Dame? Is any of the players or staff? I highly doubt it. So why don't you be the bigger man and quit getting so personally invested in how people talk about the team?
