I think it is safe to say he was signed to be a practice player.

A lot of potential with some of the youngsters. Little comes off the injury list and looked strong. I really hope they find a way to keep Giles.
With that 3 point shot, he can develop into a rotation player at PF. He is a good passer as well.

I think I’ve pin-pointed the problem with our defense:

Enes: “We talk about it... we know we gotta keep them under 90... in a halftime....”

Does that mean we won't have to read any more stupid posts about why people actually think that stat is important?

Norm: “I see from afar how they play...”. Was that before or after playing with them?

Only matters against good teams. Not even fun when it's not even against a team we could face in the playoffs.

    Systemic problems still exist.

I think he's secretly taking a shot at Nick Nurse. Read into it very very deep and you can come up with some hidden message!

THAT is what you should do to a team so bereft of talent. This is more like what games against the Heat and Magic should have looked like. Glad to see them put their foot down. Now let's see if any of that translates to upper half Playoff teams.

Our last 6 games against those Playoff type of teams is a -85. Clippers/Jazz should give us more of an idea if we are progressing. Even if they lose those two tough games, if they are competitive battles where they just come up short, that would be an improvement.

You do know the the Magic just beat both the Pelicans and Clippers on the road. They also played the Lakers to a 3 point loss at Staples as well.
The Heat are currently riding a 4 game win streak. Knicks, Pacers, Warriors, and Cavs. Lesser teams yes but still a 4 game streak.

I agree with this statement however. They should start improving in all phases at this point.

Orlando is playing well and they have not added much. They started the exact same players against the Clippers as they did against the Blazers.
I just looked. Would you like me to post it?
They did change to starting Randle against the Pels and didn't dress MCW

Did you watch that game? I live in SoCal so I watch a lot of Lakers and Clippers games. First, the Magic played Terrence Ross, Wendell Carter and Otto Porter Jr. These are 3 legit NBA level talent that did not play against Portland. Second, the Clippers did not play Paul George, Serge Ibaka, Marcus Morris, Patrick Beverly and Rajon Rondo. With pretty much their entire starting line-up out, the Clippers were still up by double-digits the majority of the game.
