Yep, and that would work significantly better IF and ONLY IF they played some fucking defense! It's so maddening.

I mean, we're talking historically bad defense...in a league where it's basically proven that you have to be top 10 defense to win a title (along with good offense).

Like, it's not rocket science Stotts....

yes but 7 rebounds and 7 assists. 14-7-7 is not a shit game, like going 4-20 with no boards and a couple assists. After bubble Murray I think lots were thinking all star game.

If CJ & Dame played aggressive defense all game they would be empty on offense. They could have the best D coach in the league and they wouldn't change the way they play, just my opinion.

well, that's good news for Portland and bad news for Denver when they each face a lottery team in the playoffs

clearly, you need a kingspeed filter on your posts

You're so right. LeBron, Kawhi, PG13, CP3, Butler, AD, Giannis, Joker, Simmon, Bam, Jrue and a bunch of other two way players that aren't all nba types can do it but our guys can't. I guess you think our guys don't have the conditioning those other guys do. That's an empty and bogus point of view. It's not just your opinion because it's factually incorrect.

I said it wouldn't change the way they play, just my opinion and you come at me with my opinion is factually wrong and it's an empty bogus point of view, what an arrogant no it all response. I thought you were better and more respectful than that.
My opinion is we have two superb offensive players that are not great a D and they play to their strengths. Its ok to disagree just don't be such a jerk about it.

Poor Kerr. Gets artificially propped up as a great coach for having a ton of talent, and now is probably being unfairly labeled as a horrible coach now that his talent level has dropped.

That first championship team wasnt as talented as it seemed. Kerr maximized every player on the roster and developed an offense that you couldnt easily defend.

Who is this guy and who cares what he says??? If he feels this way watching Kerr, man, he would blow a gasket watching Stotts.

If Stotts won three rings he would have the city named after him.

If Stotts coached the Warriors we probably never heard of some guy named Draymond Green he’d be tryin to get minutes behind Melo, Mario, and Tolliver.

We are going to find out just how good a coach he is now as he's got a decent team and nice mix of vets and young high draft picks. It takes a while for any team thats gone through some injuries and player changes to gel. I think he's a good coach but we will find out just how good he is in the next year or two. Unless he steps away which wouldn't surprise me either.

While we're making up hypothetical stories:

If Stotts coached the GSW they would have won 5 straight titles.

I agree with you, if it means anything. Part of it is about energy expenditure on their parts, although I still think their defense is underrated by most people, especially analyticians. Dame's taken a number of big charges this year and is a lot harder to post up against than a guy his height should be. CJ always blocked more shots than a player with no size who plays no defense should and he gets some big steals, too. They pick their spots and seem to at least try to ratchet it up in crunch time.

I think every fan base is overly critical of their own team with the exception of the Yankees, Lakers, and, maybe now the Patriots. Yankees and Lakers fans don't complain about their players. They get on internet forums and sports talk radio about which player they're going to add for essentially no compensation.

"I think we can get Memphis to trade us Morant for Caruso and a conditional second. They won't be able to afford to keep him. Have LeBron put out feelers. He'll pressure the Griz to trade him to the Lakers."

Oh, yeah, and Penguins fans ... they just blame everything wrong with their team on some global sports conspiracy against Pittsburgh.
