The next owner of the Blazers should be Elon Musk! He'll move the team to Mars but the low gravity means Oden can come out of retirement.
Sure but Paul isn't here anymore. I'm talking about the current group that's running things like someone who owns a vacation property and lets someone else manage it.
Understood... but Paul was the engaged owner who was overseeing the string of GM and coaching hires you have not been ok with.
Powell's interview with Dwight on the defensive differences and what the coaches did, adjusted to or anticpated.....was jaw droppingling huge.
It's just nice that we're finally getting the confirmation that Terry is as bad as we have all thought he was.
I don't think you are the type to wait for media confirmation of your opinion being correct; you tend to jump to conclusions fairly quick. You might be the worst, jump to conclusions poster I've seen in my lifetime
From what I can remember, that opinion on Stotts in many years in the making. Doesn't seem like he really jump to a quick conclusion with that particular one. After so many years of same ole', same ole', it's not really jumping to a conclusion, it is just accepting reality. With the talent on this roster, we are last or next to last in defense? That is on Stotts....and sadly, some on Dame.
We suck on defense. The why remains a debate. Hopefully if we get a new coach we'll jump into the Top 10 next year, but I'm not holding my breath.
I mean... my opinion of Terry and CJ are not really new. They evolved over time. They're golden oldies.
Got it. Fair enough. So would Monty Williams would be out on your list of replacement coaches you'd be ok with? You'd probably love David Blatt and Ty Lue?
If we're talking experience and the players with which they had, no. (They are 1a and 1b) because they got carried to whatever they had. Stotts got carried and still sucks as a coach. There's the difference.
