Stotts is making it even easier for Neil to let him go. Benching big free agent signings is a real good way to piss off a GM. Stotts is 100% gone, and everyone can move the fuck on and we can shut down all these threads.

 

I've heard them both state otherwise.

 

terry says "I don’t know if we weren’t ready for the pace of the game..." This is kind of what I was saying after the Miami game. Against some teams, and maybe in the playoffs, the game is moving too fast for the Blazers. It's on both defense and offense. I know that Lillard just loves that slow pace, but they need to figure out how to play at a faster pace, to keep up with other teams.

One thing about this team: When it's bad, it's horrific.

Seriously, I don't think Stotts is THE problem. Whatever he's doing isn't working, though, and it's easier replacing him and seeing if someone else can make this jumbled mess of a roster work than actually replacing the entire jumbled mess of a roster into something that fits together properly.

It's just awfully hard to envision any other team that looks this bad this often and isn't rebuilding not making a major change, 8 games above .500 or not. The Blazers get run out of the gym far too much for it to be considered acceptable.

Bingo. How many times did that guy get blocked tonight? And by 2 or 3 defenders at a time. And his defense wasn't all that either.

 

When Melo is on the floor, every single possession is to Melo. Little is getting fucking screwed out there. You can see he's not happy about it.
