The no-calls of fouls of Dame need to stop immediately! There is no explanation except biased officiating that results in Dame being knocked down or clearly hit during shots with no foul called and no free throws. Dame should be averaging at least 5 FT and should have 5+ in this game against the Nets. NBA officials need to be held accountable for keeping a high standard of calling consistent and accurate games which avoid unevenness in personnel. If Harden had been in the game, there would have been an even more pointed show of inconsistent fouls called against the Blazers and Nets. This distortion of NBA basketball needs to end for the Blazers to have a chance to win 2nd and 3rd round playoff games.
Someone needs to take one for Dame and the team and body check the person who lays the next hard foul on Dame. It will get them a suspension but the resulting attention will force the league to stop allowing that shit.

So this reveals two things: 1) this is the new swish3 gimmick 2) Dame is being traded to the heat. Nuuuuuu.
Every game there are so many no calls on Dame. Ja Morant got more respect from the refs than he did. Teams are being allowed to assault Dame and I agree it needs to stop. There indeed needs to be and has long needed to be accountability for NBA referees. I don't see it happening though.
I tried look into this. I don't see any bias or trending against Dame. This is FTA as a percentage of usage where I defined usage as any game event (shot, assist, steal, blocked shot, rebound etc. except shots count 2x and shots at the rim count 4x). The exact definition of usage isn't that important since each player uses the same definition. I deliberately excluded the aberration that is James Harden... we all know where he'd be. This is a moving average from 2016-present.
That's one game. Dame has gotten as few as 1 FTA and as many as 18 FTA in games this season. Ja has gotten as few as 0 and as many as 15. There could be bias in certain games by certain refs. I can't tell. But overall I don't see a trend. Ja get's nearly as many calls a Dame overall.
Damian is not screwed by refs. He’s ref’d the same as anyone else. He needs to stop flailing around and crying.
The point is that Dame should be shooting at least 5 FT per game, and against the Nets he shot exactly 0! Dame is being hit hard, and sometimes knocked to the floor, with no foul called. This is highly unacceptable, and must be remedied before the playoffs for the Blazers to have a chance to win. Dame is a top player in the NBA and deserves the level of respect given Steph, Luka, Harden, Ja, Beal, and others with high FTA numbers. You must admit that in the results you display the FTA for Dame are down significantly and unexplained.
