    There are many various factors. One thing's for certain in this current market: At least with a new home, you don't really have t be concerned with bidding wars....which is becoming somewhat commonplace out there in the used marketplace.

    @stampedehero , what are your thoughts on ceiling fans and cat5/cats connections?

    I think highly of ceiling fans. Just makes the house feel comfortable and energy efficient as well. Had them put into most major areas.

    Also think CAT6 is worth paying for. We have YouTube TV and think the demand for bandwidth will only increase. Having it installed now will be better than getting by with hot spots now and be sorry later.

    Being told that the size of the house is causing a delay on the permit. Hopefully we have it in the next couple of weeks.
