I tend to agree with this. The Blazers will beat this team if they meet in the playoffs.

 

Well let's hope we have a chance to meet them in the second round. Unfortunately LAC is the worst matchup.

 

Why is it that other teams are able to get their star player the ball in these situations?

 

That's what discourages me. The team is doing a lot of good things lately but I know that at the crucial moments our coach will let us down.

I was pissed but then I remember this just gets us one step closer to the firing of Stotts and now I don’t care anymore.

I can maaaaybe understand taking Nurk on that defensive possession to go small, but to not put in RHJ or DJJ in that situation over Melo is just asinine, I don’t care that they played zero minutes they’re both better defenders by a mile.

Still not using Powell well. I think he is one of the best corner 3 pt shooters in the league, but we don't give him many opportunities.

 

melo had forced a turnover on a fast break just seconds prior. strangely, i'm OK with that decision. Also, i have a feeling refs would have given him the benefit of doubt on his swipes/contests in that instance. I'm more upset over him not using DJ/RHJ earlier in the game, like when cam payne and torrey craig were killing us

Good, entertaining game. Showed some heart, energy. I can't ask for much more from this team at the moment. The time to secure a 5th seed or higher was 30 games ago.

 

What do you mean? We get the ball to Dame plenty of times in this situation. This time for whatever reason it looked like he wasn't the first option. Who knows why.
