Got my oldest 2 their first pfizer shot today... 12 and 14. The 11 year old has just over a month until her birthday, so they wouldn't give it to her. It's a good feeling to have 2 of them that much closer to clear of this thing.
This isn't true, of course. If the entire rest of the world was vaccinated, the vaccinated-but-still-susceptible's chances of coming into contact with the virus would be greatly diminished. That's the whole 'herd immunity' concept. If enough of the population is immune, then the virus doesn't have a chance to spread/mutate and eventually dies out. barfo
