That’s what happens when you throw the ball to the other team umpteen times. Get a lead you better not get fat and happy.
The Warriors did get sloppy a number of times also pushed the ball a few times when they maybe should have slowed it down and went for a better look.
Curry was given a 2 pointer on their 2nd to last possession but insisted on dribbling around behind the 3pt line where there were two defenders. They seemed so unprepared for a double team. Their last possession they dribble around slowly in the backcourt, finally call timeout, then turn it over. This board would be going wild if we did that.
Can't disagree with that, but I've been told it's an isolated problem with the Warriors being the prime example of a team that handles the double correctly.
Schroder, Harrell and Drummond all getting the “Can’t Play Kanter” treatment (Gasol - DNP-CD). The Lakers will miss Dwight Howard and Rondo immensely in the playoffs.
IMO pushing the ball is highly overrated. Sometimes, yes, when it’s there. But as a practice, better to take care of the ball than to push the ball.
Great game, shit refs, Curry played great but his turnover around the 2-minute mark was horrific. They were up 3 and a bucket would have been huge. Way too casual with the ball against Caruso. Great Flops by Wes (Did I say shit refs? Shit refs)
Curry has been always loose with the ball. He has that behind the back pass turnover in Game 7 of the Finals vs the Cavs that was crucial in the Cavs winning that game.
I can’t stand Draymond and having to watch his bullshit in three different series, it’s nice to see him not get away with things anymore. But I detest the Lakers more and Davis’ flopping has to be the most embarrassing thing ever. He’s this big massive dude and he flops like Harden. It’s shameful.
A little deja vu to begin the 4th. (1992 Lakers-Blazer game 1- Lakers keep their starters in and Blazers go to their bench. Momentum changed, the home-court advantage gone, and the championship was lost. Rest is overrated with all these TV timeouts and reviews.
Bazemore, Whiteside, Gasol, Mario, Tolliver... what a 2019 off season we had coming off a WCF run. Not easy to go 0-5...That summer is right up there with the 2016 summer for Olshey.
We beat the Lakers in Game 1 in 1992 and won the series. And went to the Finals. Last time we’ve been there actually. Last time we’ve beaten Lakers in a series too.
2016 was way way worse because it took years to undo it. By the end of last season every single one of those muppets was gone.
This makes me wonder why, in Game 5, OKC allowed Dame to dribble off the clock and step to side and drain basically a wide open shot with the series on the line lol. Talk about bad defense. What was Paul George thinking? Dame had one option with 2, 3 seconds to go and PG played off him lol.
