Voters this election were 100% motivated by negative views of opposing candidates. There’s no logical way Joe Biden would ever garner 80 million votes without the contempt for Donald Trump. Joe Biden is the definition of establishment mediocrity, there’s nothing exciting about him. Most of the left has admitted this. Obama (first term) was the last time someone was elected out of purely positive expectations. Trump was half and half. Half hillbilly excitement and the other half Hillary seeming like the type of person that might eat babies.
That was hyperbole. I don’t think you could accurately assign a percentage to an abstract like ‘intent’. But I do think that was the overwhelming motivation.

TDS is a very real thing. It’s an unreasonable expectation (and insistence) by half of America that those who do wrong are held accountable. Not a particularly patriotic…..or attractive) virtue for half of this country these days…….but just imagine if every American citizen believed in accountability. There’d be no need for a cheesy “Make America Great Again” slogan……because we’d already be there.
