Michael Porter Jr: 11-11 2FG & 1-10 3FG. Hopefully Porter Jr doesn’t realize Portland can’t guard him inside (or realizes too late).

I'm not sure if he'll have a hot game...probably, maybe...but he is carrying a heavy load on defense guarding Porter. I was a little surprised to see RoCo on Gordon and Powell on Porter...I'd have thought it would have been the other way around

He's really quick to go negative but unlike most of the extremely negative posters on here, he admits when he's wrong... usually just to go knee jerk negative again. He is a lot of fun though, when the team isn't making his negativity correct.

Robin Lopez would be the perfect backup Blazers C for this series

CJ and Powell combined for 31 points on 31 shots. Both need to be a lot better

I don't think that's the issue with Porter. I think Porter thinks the 3-point shot is his primary weapon. Even if he's not hitting, even if he has a huge mismatch, he's going to keep going back to that well.

It's like people see CJ and Melo and what they do and thinking they can see what would be such minor adjustments that would make them so much better. But they're people with people frailties and tendencies. I got the feeling Porter thinks of himself more as a shooter than a scorer. Maybe the injury makes him want to avoid contact as much as possible. I just think his identity, to him, is "I'm a 6-10 guy who shoots 3s."

For Kanter? Um yeah. A guy like Brad Stevens did that last post-season.

You may have heard of him?

This turned into a decisive win. The way it should be. We have much more proven talent than they do. They have theoreticals trying to figure it out never been having in the situation.

As I said, if Stotts doesn't get this done in 6 then he's even worse than I thought.

He's become a very playable three point specialist which given his ridiculous athletic gifts is pretty funny and might mean big things for him in the future.
