See, what did I tell you all? I don't understand all this bs about Denver still being a good team. They totally suck and cannot hope to even win one game against the Blazers. Not because the Blazers are so good, but because the depleted Nuggets are so bad. This is probably the biggest mismatch in the playoffs first round and that includes Philly v. the Wizards. The Nuggets ain't got nothing that can stop the Blazers three point barrage. The Nuggets would look better to just forfeit the series than to get their collective asses whooped four games in a row. They are plain awful.

MPJ is just another Denver fiction. Posters here and article writers have to say some good things about him and the Nuggets to not tell the truth about how much of a mismatch this series is. The Nuggets got nothing. Porter sucks, so does Gordon as well as Compizza. Jokic is great, but a team can't win in the NBA with only one player. The Nuggets should be embarrassed to even show up. I wonder if the Nuggets will even be able to lose one of the four games (if they don't forfeit the series before four are played) by less than 10 points. That is one sad, unqualified team. It ain't there fault, but it is what it is and they are just awful. I doubt that they would have won the NCAA championship if they were in that tourney. Maybe they should see if they can enter some other tournament late this spring in a place like Iran, or Latvia, or Sierra Leone.

c'mon, Denver is good. MPJ had a terrible night from long range, Compazzo (sp.?) did well too I thought. They are missing their second best player and they lost Grant and Plumlee. Grant was/is a MIP candidate IIRC.

Denver is good, if they have all their players. But, they don't, so Denver sucks. I don't care what MPJ did in the regular season. They need him now to step up and make up for what they are missing with Barton and Murray gone. Since he can't do it, he sucks at playoff basketball. Gordon is a lost cause in any season. Why do you think he was available to Denver? Because he is a great player? Guess again. They'd get more respect to just forfeit than to play and expose how awful they all are except for Jokic.

Face it, the Blazers got lucky that the gutless Clippers decided to manipulate their positioning and tank their last two games to give the Blazers the inept and depleted Nuggets. The NBA is a joke to allow tanking to determine seeding. I am more and more liking the idea of the top four seeds getting to choose their first round opponents. Then, tanking will not be rewarded and it would be punished. But, such a good idea would never be adopted, since the refing in this joke of a league is so bad, the management might as well be also. I don't know how Malone kept his composure since he knew he was going to lose and still had to deal with some horrible calls to make his night even worse. I would have gotten two quick technicals so I could go to the locker room and not have to watch the slaughter.

Whoever wrote that has some common sense. As I have been telling you all here, this series was over before it even started. There is no sense in Denver mouthing the inevitable we have do this or change that bs. They are simply overmatched and have nothing except Jokic. I think it would better if they would just forfeit the series rather than be embarrassed. At least, they could tell the world that they recognized the inevitable outcome and didn't want to risk anyone else getting injured in the remaining three games of their season, unless they forfeit. The only weird thing about this article is that the Nuggets had championship dreams to begin with. Even with Murray and Barton, they just don't have the pieces to win any championship except perhaps a Colorado AAU tourney.

To illustrate how bad Denver is, I can understand not being able to defend Lillard. If you try to stop his outside shot, he just goes right around you. But, not being able to defend Anthony is atrocious. Christ, all the guy can do is hit the open shot and he had plenty of 'em. Did I say Denver should forfeit the remaining 3 games? If not, I'll say it now.

Stotts was genius last night......Most teams would have doubled the Joker and he would have picked it part with crazy ass passes, thats one of his HUGE strengths. Terry elected to play him straight up and take away his passing which we did for the most part. Now thats what you look for in a change up strategy going into the playoffs. Even Jokic mention we made it tough for him to pass. Props to coach!

Was anyone else, who watched it on ESPN, annoyed as well when they focused the camera on Murray...in the middle of the action?
One time I get it, but multiple times was ridiculous, especially for as long as they stayed on him.

Most teams don't double Jokic from what I've seen. And Stotts never calls for doubles on anybody unless he's desperate because some star is shredding his defense constantly

Ive watched them numerous times this and many teams do throw doubles at him and thats when he's dangerous with passing.
