I thought they were finally at the point where they could exert their dominance and squash an inferior team. I was wrong.

 

Melo and Kanter need to have extremely short leashes and should almost never be on the floor together at the same time. They are the definition of "high risk, high reward". Certain nights when the matchups are decent or the ball is going in it may work, but if it's obvious that they are a liability you don't ride it out, you yank 'em ASAP.

 

We can win this game as long as kanter plays zero minutes. I would love to have a talk with kanter and explain to him that he is worse defensive player in history. And ask him where is his pride? But he should never play even a second in this series period

Holy shit, when Melo is cold he’s a huge liability on both ends. Kanter also has no business being in there.

Yeah I feel like most have been really good looks. Melo is 0/3 as well but all his threes were wide open.

 

What's sad is they played the last couple of weeks of the regular season like they figured it out. They baited we fans into believing.

All it shows me is they can do it. They apparently just don't feel like doing it.

If the Blazers lose this series, they should just clean house and start over from scratch. Too much bad juju with this management and roster.

 

Im hoping Dame doesnt come out shooting 37. I know he can make them and the whole league does too, but we need to get others involved and especially get Powell driving to the hoop. They cant guard him.

 

Talk about bad coaching ... Angels took out pitcher who had a shutout for five innings, new pitcher gave up four runs and A's still have only one out.

 

Nurk has been great. Hope they don't forget to go through him in the second half.
