That’s because he can still impact the game when he’s playing bad. Unlike some players.

Dame is a major part of the reason for this current situation, so as great as he is as a player, his own loyalty to certain teammates is something he has to own and given such, he cannot deserve what you are asking for.

On the flip side, if Dame was like your average superstar, he would've demanded a trade out of Portland years ago. We're lucky he's loyal.

I think Dame would respect the logic I put forth and I am certainly not demeaning Dame for being loyal. Winning would be that much sweeter for him given such, so that is the risk of being loyal.

hogwash....unless of course Dame was made secret GM in a midnight ceremony. Dame has given Olshey 9 years of ass-cover. Olshey is paid 8M a year to run the team. Pretty sure there is not one damn thing in Dame's contract that says he can veto trades or hire coaches.

quit giving Olshey a pass for not doing his fucking job, and quit blaming Dame for it

I agree you're not demeaning him.

I don't think he would respect your logic though.

This actually works for my opinion but you wouldn't understand the context.

I probably wouldn't... Those hidden 3D pictures always gave me trouble.

Denver doesn't have a 2nd star in this series.

You are right, Dame's relationship with C.J. doesn't count for anything and he has no say at all. I recommend you quit being dishonest. Also, Olshay is a strawman and I didn't say his name once. Irrelevant to the discussion. \

So you think Dame feels like he deserves a top notch supporting cast as well as having C.J. as his sidekick making 30 million? Or do you think Dame understands the consequence of C.J. being your 2nd highest paid player and takes ownership for his role in that being reality? You pick the former and I think that is idiotic.

Most people’s issue with Stotts is A) defense but B) he doesn’t put the role players in position to succeed. Instead he makes them a tertiary part of the offense when dribble, dribble, iso, dribble, dribble forced shot fails.
So showing us how people didn’t make shots really isn’t relevant AND in our minds it’s a product of piss poor coaching, not helping your players succeed, lack of ball movement leading to good, open shots.
See: Beverly, Patrick calling our offense “easy to guard and basic.” on some basketball podcast.
