...yeah, sounds like another one of those deeper meanings!

    The chorus reads:

Dedication, hard work plus patience The sum of all my sacrifice, I'm done waitin' I'm done waitin', told you that I wasn't playin' Now you hear what I been sayin', dedication It's dedication, look

Dame is also loyal to a fault. He has to let whoever the GM is to trade CJ and not have an issue with it

Dame will stay along with Covington, Little, Powell but that won't be good enough and many new faces will be on the 21-22 roster headed by a new coach.

He’ll pass Drexler next year in scoring. Perhaps in assists as well.

I just checked out all other 29 nba team subs on Reddit, and holy shit almost everyone is talking about us, and how they want Dame and even CJ

Dame, Nurkic, rocco and norm. Needs to be the core. CJ has to be traded maybe for randle? I dont care a decent wing and stotts fired. People need to stop expecting good return on CJ anything for him is a good deal. If we have a new coach but CJ is still there consider it massive failure

    Injuries.
And talent to a lesser extent. He has the same BBIQ as a potato as well. Cant. Stop. Fouling. Or always injured.

In the full quote he says that “they aren’t good enough”, “I don’t know what a shakeup looks like and what changes need to be made” “we obviously aren’t good enough” and “it’s back to the drawing board for us”

If you can’t read between the lines and/or cannot take context clues, that’s on you. It’s pretty clear to me what he is saying. Him demanding change its clickbaity but it’s pretty clear to me that change is coming from his quote. And hey, look, you’re here reading and posting.

It’s also a massively different tone than he has ever had before. “Run it back when healthy, run it back with X blah blah blah”.

What would be the incentive for the Knicks to trade the guy who sparked their turnaround for a good guard? This was a trade that would have made sense to the Knicks in last year's landscape, but not now. They want to put pieces around Randle, not jettison him.

The Blazers could hope for maybe selling the Knicks on CJ for Toppin and various contracts or a third team to make it work; Toppin's skillset overlaps with Randle enough that maybe they would go for it. I don't think they would, but it seems more likely to me than them giving up Randle for CJ.

Randle was horrible in their matchup with Atlanta. I think they might deal him.

Personally I would rather the Blazers find a team that can do a trade that might not match salaries and then get a number of good draft picks for the future.
I personally think they have some pieces that can work if CJ and Melo are not on the court.
I like Powell, I like Roco, Of course i like Dame.
Simons is growing well. I want more Little.

I'm not happy with Nurkic. I think Collins will be cheap and needs to stay healthy.

Blazers need a better Center and they need a powerful Power Forward.

Of course this will need to happen with a new coach. I understand i supported Stotts through the season but he is done here and they need to make this change ASAP.

Lets get the show moving quickly! When there is a new Coach have him (or Her) help design the roster.

Maybe. I think you're being overly optimistic, but maybe.

I just see Randle as the primary reason the Knicks even got to the playoffs, an all-star who averages a double-double coming off the best season in his career and is 3 years younger than CJ.

To me, that doesn't sound like the guy you trade for a small combo guard whose lack of self-awareness has worn out his welcome even on a team that's consistently made the playoffs while he's been there.

Like I said, I could be wrong. I'd be shocked if the Knicks deal him for anyone other than another proven star, though. I'd be surprised if they traded him at all just because the Hawks beat them.
