Well I look it like this this organization vet players before they draft or trade for or sign about there back ground before bring them in the organization so more likely they do the same about there coaches. You can't have double standard in the organization. Kidd or Billups don't live up to those standards because past incidents.
why? if Billups is the preferred candidate it would be a lot more reassuring if his team didn't lose in the 1st round
I do not want Vanterpool, i dont want another guy who is friend with Dame and CJ and let them do wathever they want. They need a coach who can teach them something and play team basketball
I don't know why Kidd withdrew his name. It could very well be the backlash to his candidacy in Portland. The Blazers have almost had a zero-tolerance for scandal since Zach Randolph was traded it could be Kidd doing a favor for Olshey by taking the pressure off it could have been during a discussion about salary. Or it could have been Kidd asking if Olshey planned on trading CJ and Olshey said no whatever it was, it takes an undesirable piece of the board, thankfully, making the hunt a lot more intriguing
that very well could be true. Even without AD for much of the series against the Suns, the Lakers looked a lot more helpless than they should have. Kidd may be poised for a big promotion, and being HC of the Lakers is about as big as it gets
I don’t agree. He could’ve/would’ve said no a lot earlier imo. Haynes had him connected to the job at least a month ago. I think the backlash to the idea was strong enough that either he, but more likely Portland, said no thanks. I don’t believe Olshey ever seriously considered him anyway.
lol this is on chris haynes and his lack of discretion. dude has always been a hack. now it's coming back to bite him in the ass
