deGrom vs Snell tonight Friday 06/11.
Jacob with 121 pitches at 100 mph in his first 9 games. Will or can he break Gibson's ERA record of 1.12?

deGrom's ERA over 10 starts and 60 IP, 96 Strikeouts 8 Walks and only 4 Earned Runs for a 0.60 ERa!!

Billed as the deGrom vs Tatis show, Jacob is prevailing, as Tatis is 0/2 with 2 strikeouts, sliders off of the plate.

deGrom 5IP / 8 Strikeouts / 1 Hit / 0 BB's / 0 Runs, and to add insult to injury he drives into runs, by hitting an outside fastball to left field. He knocked Snell out of the game!

Just thinking out loud here, but maybe I wasn't paying attention or maybe my memory is not as vivid as it could/should be, and it probably has happened before but when was the last time any of us can recall a regular season FRIDAY when the Yanx did not play?

I always assumed that Monday and Thursday were the "travel days"....but Friday? Hell, even when the Yanx are on the road, the home team always draws well anytime the Yanx are in town.

Not sure if the guy in charge of scheduling was smoking crack, but if so, he needs to put down the pipe.

I will be watching this it's telecast here. I don't give a shit about Taillon, but the Phillies SP Vince Velasquez was an incredible talent here for the Lancaster jethawks Minor League a+ team. I watched him throw seven perfect innings with a 99 mph heater, a good Change-Up and a decent curveball.

Velasquez was one of the top Astros farm system pitchers. When he was called up to Houston they fucked with his delivery, and his speed/mph settled down to approximately 93-95 mph. He did have some control issues and dialed it down.

I don't know if any of you saw this in 2020, it made MLB highlights and top plays.

Girardi put Velasquez in LF in the 9th inning of a game with the bases loaded. Velasquez fielded a one hopper line drive hit right to him, it appeared like he was going to catch it. Runner tagged up at 3rd and Vince threw him out at home with a 99/100 mph heater, "on a rope" Velasquez duplicated that feat in the 10th inning.
That was the last time I have ever seen Velasquez throw above 95/96.

Meredith stating Severino had to be helped off the field today in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and cannot put pressure on one leg. WTF goes on in Yankeeland? Can no one on this team stay healthy over the last 3 or 4 years
