    Middleton value up
    Simmons value down

I doubt Philly trades a 24 year old Simmons for CJ, something else would have to be included. I’m not a huge Ben fan because I value shooting and FTs but the guy is a 6’11 point forward all defensive player who can have a triple double on any given night.

    Advantage Simmons

    Dame
    Powell/Ant
    RoCo/Nas
    Simmons/Zach
    Nurk

Pretty good 8 man, would Philly bite on a CJ/future 1st for Ben?

I remember discussing a CJ for Middleton trade 2-3 years ago and half a dozen people were adamant CJ was much better.

Portland needs to trade CJ but they really need to lower their expectations of CJ's value

I see no way game 7 isn't rigged for Brooklyn.

I'm getting fitted for my tin foil hat in the morning.

It’s crazy to think Ben Simmons might become available..dude was considered the next LeBron for awhile. Part of me sees the shooting as a major issue, and part of me says you trade anyone other than Dame to get that dude.

I’m starting to like the Simmons idea too, unfortunately I think current Ben needs to be your 3rd best player to win it all.

Is it April 1st?? Why would Boston give up that much just to bring back Horford (and Moses!)?

Somehow, some way, OKC increases their draft stash by one more.

Boston must be targeting a PG via trade or free agency. Do we have anyone they're looking at...?

They have Smart & Pritchard thats not to abby if they stay healthy. Getting rid of Kimba could be like us getting rid of CJ.
Nobody wants undersized guards that are not treat on D, making 38m py for two years.

They don’t care about Horford and Moses Brown. They’re paying for the opportunity to free up money

yeah, Boston does not need to get younger...they are quite young already. They probably didn't place a lot of value on that 16th pick. Much like Portland didn't place a lot of value on the 16th pick last year

this trade moves them from 6M under the tax line to 16M under the line. That's decent breathing room created, and adding the combo of Horford and Brown give the Celts a diverse big man rotation. Horford is still a serviceable and rather versatile big man with great passing skills

Boston was smart enough to understand Kemba was a way-too-expensive, redundant guard on their roster. I wish the Blazers would be that smart

Smart and Pritchard as Boston's PG rotation screams rebuild. Not valuing the 16th pick in a historically deep draft contradicts that.

Get them on the line ASAP now that the front office is in transition and making bad choices...

i have no interest in anyone on their team that they'd be willing to trade, especially for CJ. Need to find a three way.

I think Sam Presti has actually gone mad and forgotten about fielding a team. He's like the guy who lives in a tiny apartment and always wears the same clothes and lives on baked beans, and when he dies they find he was a millionaire.

...which backcourt would you rather have (hypothetically if Boston does blow it up more):

    CJ, Smart, Tatum

    -or-

    Dame, Powell, Brown

    ??
